Once your file is submitted you will see your submission listed. Depending on assignment settings you may be able to do the following: (1) Click to view the originality report after submission. (2) Upload the assignment again up to due date. (3) Download the assignment file. (4) View the digital receipt for the file submission.

The originality report is designed to give instructors and students a general overview of written work and how much of content is similar to other content found in the TurnItIn database. TurnItIn uses a color legend for noting similarity. Please note the example below is for demonstrating purposes. If your paper is original, it will typically fall in the blue, green or yellow categories. Contact your instructor with any questions about your assignment and the Originality Report. Additionally, students can also contact the librarian at the reference desk for help on creating proper citations.

blue (no matching words)
green (one matching word - 24% similarity index)
yellow (25-49% similarity index)
orange (50-74% similarity index)
red (75-100% similarity index)

The Originality report is the default view. (1) You can also view the Grademark or PeerMark feedback. (2) The right sidebar will display the where the highlighted text is similar and what website contains the original content.
