Testing and Grading
You will have tests for each unit and a final exam. NO student will be able to make up the exams or homework - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
No homework will be accepted late. All homework must be completed and turned in by 11:59 PM on the due date. O I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you write down due dates on a calendar that is easily seen. Post discussions early!!! If you wait until the last minute to post discussions, you are not participating. Remember, assignments are due at 11:59 PM!
Grades will be composed of readings, assignments, papers, participation, and final exam. All grades will be posted in Canvas. I will not send grades via individual email.
Because I have some students taking several different classes, please specify what the class is, what chapter, the question number, and if the question is regarding an assignment or test.
For example: In class 070, assignment 2, question 4, I don’t understand the difference between diabetes with polyneuropathy and diabetes with retinopathy. What do I code if they have both?
Or: in 070, test 3, question 2, I have procedure code 45678 but the quiz answer shows 45677. Can you explain the difference?
I will post announcements throughout the semester with important classroom information, so be sure to check the Announcements section of Canvas for announcements.
Grade Scheme
The following grading standards will be used in this class:
Grade | Range |
