COMPUTER‑AIDED DRAFTING / COMPUTER INTEGRATED MANUFACTURING  -  CAD075

Prerequisites:  Must have completed 16 semester hours of CAD or CIM Certificate/Degree Program, and approval of the instructor.

Catalog Description:  Designed to promote on the job experience in CAD or CIM technology while applying skills and knowledge learned in the program.  The employers and supervising instructors work closely with the student in an off campus job site.  90 hours of field related work required.  This class can be taken up to 3 times for 9 hours elective credit.

 

Course Outcomes: At the successful completion of this course, the students will be able to:

  • Articulate learning experiences gained during supervised occupational experience.
  • Keep a log of time spent on the job.
  • Demonstrate good behavior skills in the job place such as dependability, integrity and judgment.
  • Demonstrate good communication and technical skills.
